C.M. Quirke, rider of Wilde Words, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame.
383B Thorntons Recycling M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Good Time Tommy trained by Gavin Cromwell was seen to have blood at both nostrils post race.
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Daisy Fingall, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer.
383C Changing Times Brewery Juvenile H'dleThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Kasper Hauser (GB). Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he had initially secured the services of D.E. Mullins to ride his charge. However, shortly before the cut off time for nomination of a rider, D.E. Mullins was declared to ride Narciso Has for W.P. Mullins. He concluded by stating that the Agent representing D.E. Mullins's had contacted him with this information but he simply ran out of time to find a replacement. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the trainer was in breach of Rule 195(i) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards granted a request from Kevin Thomas Coleman to nominate K.C. Sexton to ride his charge as he had nominated the rider to the Clerk of the Scales in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 3(1).
383D E-Auctions Novice H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Powerful, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Welluknow, trained by M.A.Molloy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
383E Racing Post Novice S'chaseB. Hayes, rider of Westport Cove (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first and second approach to the starter which resulted in the riders being called into line again. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Westport Cove (FR) ridden by B. Hayes was proving difficult despite the riders best efforts and that no further action was warranted.
383F Racing Post H'cap S'chaseJ. Coen, rider of Golden Joy (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake in the back straight.
S. O'Callaghan, rider of An Peann Dearg, trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered at the fourth last fence.
K.C. Sexton, rider of Crescent Moon (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
383G Race And Stay INH Flat RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Heldam (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Mr F. Maguire, rider of Cityofblindinlites, trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently right throughout.
